Job Description:
  • Ensures team's compliance with the requirements of the Quality System according to ISO TS 16949, ISO14000 and OHSAS contained in the Quality Manual.
  • Coordinates corrective and improvement actions to ensure permanent improvement goals.
  • Builds a culture of zero defects, validating the correct application of the quality standard ISO TS 16949 and generate environmental awareness as ISO14001 and safety according to OHSAS standard.
  • Must Haves:
  • Demonstrated experience in plant Quality: APQP (PPAP), run at rates, supplier customer complaints, ISO TS 16949, ISO 14001, Lean Manufacturing
  • Prior management experience (4 people)
  • Can NOT come from a corporate setting; must be hands-on manager.
  • Builds strong relationships with floor and other teams.
Highly Preferred:
  • Interiors experience (leather wrapping, dashboard, IP, door panels. Etc)
Additional
  • Open to a technical Sr. Quality Engineer or matured Quality Engineer if they've managed people.
  • Currently open to all candidates H1B/TN/GC/Citizen but would prefer 2–3-week notice.
